Give Thanks Always

Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]. I Thessalonians 5:18 Amp

I greet each of you this day with a heart of Thanksgiving. With another year that is almost over and no doubt this has been a year of great trial, challenges and for some calamity. But even in the most trying times, God is still there. We must reflect on what this year has done for us and how God has been there all the time. The scripture says in everything no matter what the circumstances are be thankful because this is the will of God.

Do you mean give thanks to God for the bad? No, what I'm saying is look for something good in the bad. There is a reason why God tells us to give Him thanks no matter what the circumstances are and that is because if we constantly reflect on the negative we will be depressed, sadden and we won't see any hope. God is telling us to thank Him because He sees things we don't, He knows exactly why He allows things to happen with us, pleasant and unpleasant.

We may not have everything we want in life and this year may not have been the best but it could be worse. Let examine and focus on the good in everything and look back and see the hand of God directing, guiding and bringing comfort to us.

I went through a difficult divorce 4 years ago and while going through, I felt all hope of ever experiencing happiness was gone. I had no idea that God was allowing my marriage to die so I could live! I didn't see that He was working on my behalf in my hard place but I can reflect now and give Him thanks for bringing me to a place where my life is a blessings to eveyone I touch.

I tell my story through my writings as an Author in hopes that each one of my readers will be enpowered, encouraged and inspired.

This day I choose to give Him thanks in everything, the good and the bad!

God has designed a specific plan and purpose for your life. He has plans that are full of exciting moments. Moments that are unforgettable, amazing and worthy of taking note!

These moments are life changing and life altering moments. Moments of divine appointments and connections with people that will help propel you into destiny.

People with great influence that will assist you in advancing and help move you forward in that which God has called you.

God has everything under control and in line with His divine will. What kind of future are you hoping for? What God has for you is so much bigger. Think big, believe big because we serve a big God who has no limitations!

You must recognize your moment and seize every opportunity to excel and advance with great momentum.

It may appear that things are not going your way and your situation is getting the best of you but remember what was spoken about Abraham as he waited on the promise:

No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God.
Fully satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised. Romans 4:20-21 Amp

God Is Mindful of Us

If your wondering if God is concerned about the condition of your life or if He is paying any attention to what is going on in the world, let me assure you, He knows about everything that is happening, the good and the bad.

The times in which we are living in today are not like any other. But regardless of the times, God remains faithful to His children.

He will make sure your are well taken care of. God has obligated Himself to make sure we survive no matter what state the economy is in.

Here is His promise:

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the
thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord,
thoughts and plans for
welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final
outcome.
God will never disappoint you, let you down or abandon you especially in your time of need. We must continue to trust Him when times are such as these. Your faith will be challenged but don't quit or give up.
For the believer, better days are ahead
Shalom

You Can Make It

The bible is perfectly clear that we are going to face difficulties in life, we will face hard times, no matter who we are, no matter how much money we have, no matter what our status in life, what occupations we hold, how many degrees we have, and so forth; we are going to have bad times.

The same elements of life will hit everyone, trial, testing, and tribulations. And the storms in life do try to challenge our faith, they come to cause us to doubt the word of God and to discredit the promises God has given to us.
But I stand as an overcomer of every test and trial and declare to you that You Will Make It.

Here are a few nuggets for you:

1. Praise God in advance

2. Agree with the Word and not your situation

3. Watch God do what He has promised
