by Jackie Weger
Genre: Women's Fiction, Christmas Romance

Decker Davenport is on a deadline. He has thirty days -- Christmas Eve, to be exact -- to remodel a St. Augustine Victorian house, or the owner will put it back on the market. Not a good time for Decker's decorator to take off on a honeymoon, leaving him with Annalise Owens, a stand-in with a malaise he isn't privy to.

But as he watches Annalise work miracles on the house and his daughter, he realizes the two of them have bonded in some ethereal way, as if they've always known each other.

As Christmas Eve approaches, Decker still sees the curious malaise in Annalise's eyes. A haunting that even his kiss can't take away. What secret does the new woman in his house possess? And will learning Annalise's secret bring him and his daughter joy, or tear their world apart?

Romance novelist Jackie Weger, is a traveler of the good earth by foot, bus, canoe, sloop, mule, train, plane and pickup. But usually she only gets as far as Walmart. After family, and writing, destination travel is tops on her wish list. Says, Weger: "I like to get to a place, unpack once and spend time meeting natives, sampling the food, and learning about their lives and habits--whether in Appalachia or a tiny jungle village. I enjoy sitting in grand cathedrals and on park benches. I'm awed by magnificent architecture, frescoes and stone reliefs. I'm just as awed walking on a beach at dusk, picking up sea glass washed by a thousand seas or spying a fallen star. I hoard my friends and fans and am often humbled by their kindness." Asked what she wants most in life, Weger says: “A cave, a candle, and a good book.”

The Perfect Chance

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Kane and Veronica’s wedding became the perfect backdrop for the next Faith Temple Cathedral wedding, as Damon proposed to Selena. Although it felt right from the beginning, things are progressing, and Selena is starting to feel something pricking about her response.
Newly married Veronica Booth and her sister-in-love, Jasmine Kimbrel, have decided to throw an exclusive couples event for all the couples of Faith Temple Cathedral who were instrumental in their life and wedding. And although there are a few singles in attendance, most of them are engaged or have someone they’ve labeled as a close friend or potential love interest. As soon as it seems that everything is going how they envisioned, The Perfect Chance to do what is right, instead of what appears pressured, brings two people to a space that neither of them saw coming.

Austin Davenport has been in love with Selena since she walked into Vance’s room at Louisiana Day Hospital. And although she pulled away from him and into another man’s arms, Austin’s committed to standing in faith. Will his faith pay off by presenting The Perfect Chance for Austin to win back her heart, or will he have to pick up the pieces of his broken heart?

The Wrong Decision
A Louisiana Love Book 2

Kane Jackson Booth is in love with Veronica Kimbrel and neither of them desire to venture into forbidden territories but things are becoming a bit more heated than either of them can handle. So in making what she feels is a right suggestion, Kane makes a wrong decision that could cost them their forever after.
Right when things are shaking and seemingly cracking, Selena is in need of help and Veronica uses this opportunity to leave Kane and all of their problems behind her. She soon finds out that running away doesn’t always solve the problem, or make things right but in the school of love, making
The Wrong Decision because of someone else’s wrong decisioncan bring love to a breaking point and destroy what God has plans to put together.
Now, that Veronica is heading home, she has to face the facts that she’s just as bad as Kane. But what she does not know is, Kane has come face to face with his own facts and is preparing a surprise that will altar their very lives, and at the same time bring joy and healing to their hearts.
Jasmine is now Jasmine Kimbrel, the wife of Vance Kimbrel but her Jessica Booth is making the right choice with repairing the breach completely between she and Jasper Sr.
Will this be another Booth surprise to remember? Or will The Wrong Decision ruin their chances at being the one big happy family everyone respects?

The Right Choice
A Louisiana Love Book 1

Jasmine Booth has fallen in love over the Christmas holiday to Vance Kimbrel Jr. and neither of them are willing to let the other go their separate ways. If you were born in a pentecostal, Baptist, or protestant home, you know the cardinal rule when it comes to living with someone with whom you have not married. It’s the imaginary eleventh commandment…Thou Shalt Not Shack, and both Jasmine and Vance have decided to break the rules.
In The Right Choice, Jasmine Booth, the one and only daughter of Jasper Sr. and Jessica Booth, has made a choice that has made neither of her parents proud. She’s moving to California to become the live-in woman of Vance Kimbrel Jr., and she refuses to change her mind because her family calls it sin.
Jasmine feels like she’s old enough to make her own choices and decisions, but questions whether or not Vance will still respect her in the end.
Vance has found the love of his life. Now, coupled with his two main goals, finishing college and going into the league, he’s now added, becoming the husband of Jasmine Booth.
Something will happen to make Jasmine question whether or not the right choice was made. But in the end, it was Jasmine’s choice to make.
Will this choice lead them in a direction that’s deeper than disappointing their parents? Or, will both Jasmine and Vance learn a lesson that will last a life time.
One thing is for sure, we all are entitled to make choices, but the question will always remain, Are we willing to endure the Consequence or our choice? And, Whether or not it was, The Right Choice.

#VIRTUALBOOKTOUR #NEWBOOKALERT Leave The Pieces Behind by Shirley Anne Edwards #BOOKTOUR #GIVEAWAY #YAROMANCE

Leave the Pieces Behind
by Shirley Anne Edwards
Genre: YA Romance

Bree
Apollo is an average fifteen-year-old girl: she loves chocolate,
baking cupcakes, and her neighbor, the hunky and all around popular
seventeen-year-old Foster Quinn. Except Foster is clueless about her
feelings for him, instead treating her like a kid sister and begging
for her homemade desserts. As a fellow chocolate lover, he should be
Bree’s for the taking, if it weren’t for his oh-so-perfect
girlfriend.
After
she overhears Foster making fun of her to his friends, she’s
devastated. And not even chocolate can take away the pain. She
intends to wallow in grief for a boy that was never hers to begin
with, but Austen, her eccentric new neighbor has other ideas.
The
strange boy down the street always wears a black fedora, walks
barefoot, and focuses all his energy on building a treehouse in his
backyard. For some reason, he’s elected Bree to help him. At first,
she turns him down because he acts too awkward and takes everything
she says literally. But after learning of his autism, she decides to
help with his construction (forgiving him for not being a chocolate
fan), even though she doesn’t know a think about power tools.
As
Bree and Austen grow closer, Foster notices Bree no longer worships
the ground he walks on. He wants her to go back to that doting
version of Bree, but Austen has become more important to her than
she’s ready to admit.
Austen
may just be the one to help her move on from Foster.
Like
two pieces of a puzzle, they fit together perfectly.

#VIRTUALBOOKTOUR #NEWBOOKALERT #NEWRELEASE ~~ In The Ring by Perri Forrest #INTERRACIAL #ROMANCE

Write Now Literary is pleased to announce In The Ring Virtual Book Tour by Perri Forrest, May 1-5, 2017.

ASIN: B071DBQD6Q

About The Author

Perri Forrest is a California based author with close to twenty titles to her credit. A writer who becomes one with her characters, Perri has produced numerous outstanding titles including having reached number one in Interracial Romance, as well as African American Romance on the Amazon Best Sellers list. The fan favorite novel, Captivated was an international hit debuting at number two in Women’s Fiction for three consecutive weeks on the Amazon Best Sellers list in the United Kingdom and the United States.
Having studied psychology, Perri delves into the intrinsic elements that make her characters tick. She consistently creates strong female leads weaving in the complexities of fiction and real life. This dynamic writer, who has penned stories since a preteen, ensures that each novel is mixed with insight, passion and love. Having only professionally written for just shy of three years, Perri was nominated Best Romance Author of 2015 by Urban Books, Authors, and Writers of America (UBAWA). Perri’s was also nominated for 2016 Romance Author of the Year by African Americans on the Move Book Club (AAMBC).
An unintentional venture into blogging allowed Perri to express her raw emotion, break down her personal barriers and explore her gift of writing. Ultimately Perri’s blogs resulted in fans adoring her work and clamoring to read more. Writing quickly became her sole driving force, and her goal is to nurture the minds and hearts of the readers who trust her to feed their literary appetites.
When not creating her own captivating characters, Perri can be found enjoying a good suspense thriller. She credits the work of James Patterson and Lisa Unger as being among her favorites. She also loves playing Words with Friends, which has been a constant companion while writing the bulk of her literary works.

About The Book

“In the Ring” introduces Dario “DC” Caivano, heavyweight champion, who is also a man with a heavy heart. It isn’t without reason, however. As a teenager, Dario witnessed the murder of someone that he loved like a brother, and it took a lot out of him. It hardened him and left little to trust. Years have passed since the horrific crime, but it hasn’t gotten Dario any closer to being a man that can love . . . or be loved. In fact, he’s his best self when he’s in the ring where he can release his aggressions, if only for twelve rounds of “play”, to escape to a world where he can repeatedly annihilate the person responsible for his cousin’s death.
But what happens when he allows himself to come up for air?
Chanel Norwood is a single parent and club owner who is something like a “Boss”. She’s fiercely independent and knows exactly what she wants out of life, and right now it isn’t to be in an intimate relationship. She’s too busy taking care of business and raising a preteen son. After a failed relationship, Chanel has sworn off men—especially athletes. In her eyes, she’s already had one too many.
But how long can you fight fate?
When Dario and Chanel are thrown together, while the attraction is there, sparks don’t immediately fly. Both of them have lives and hearts that they’re very protective of. But as time goes on, they find there’s more to guard than just emotions when their worlds collide in a way that no one ever expected.
“In the Ring” is not without its share of secrets, drama, and ah-ha moments. Overall, it’s a story of love, loss, life and paths to new beginnings.

Welcome Perri, to Nothing But Books. Introduce yourself to our visitors.

I’m a single parent to a 19-year old Marine. I’m very proud of him and he is the very air that I breathe. I’m a Leo, so very outspoken, and very passionate. Sometimes those two things intersect and it can be pretty interesting. I’m loyal and very easy to get along with. However, I’m an observer and if our souls don’t mesh, I will not force anything. I write for life. It gives me life and I actually think that it has saved me from a whole lot so it’s like that best friend that I value wholeheartedly and can’t see my life without. I’m an avid reader, but with the volume that I produce and in the time that I produce it, I don’t find much time to read, but have vowed to change that soon.

Tell us about your book?

It’s interracial romance/fiction/drama and centers around a boxer (though I wouldn’t label it a sports book) and a single parent, who is all about work and her son. It’s a love story in that readers get to see them find their way to each other. Then that love gets interrupted and the question lingers of whether or not they’ll find their way back. There is the huge presence of family in this story, love lost and found, and new beginnings. It’s a story written from the heart and while there are two main characters, the co-stars bring a huge amount of flavor to the story as well.

What was the most difficult aspect of writing this book?

The most difficult aspect of writing this book would be that parts of it are taken from the emotion I felt around losing one of my brothers back in 2006. In my last semester of undergrad we lost him to a motorcycle accident. It happened on my birthday so has always stuck with me. Probably always will. He left with no children for us to love on and I’ve always dreamed of someone coming forth one day letting us know that he had this child that he didn’t know about. At least we’d have a piece of him here. The memories are good, but having a part of him, would be a dream come true. So, that was the difficult part about this book because I incorporated a lot of “what if” to it. Hopefully that makes sense.

Among all the books that you have read, which of these have significantly contributed to your writing style?

Jackie Collins and Shaneska Jackson. Jackie Collins impressed me at an early age when I read her book Chances. The way that she flawlessly wrote for multiple characters and had them jetsetting around the world and living these larger than life lives had me wanting to be inside the book. Her delivery was like nobody’s. Shaneska introduced me to my first urban fiction book, Caught up in the Rapture. The cover was ugly, but her skill was on point.

Just for fun

Coffee or tea? Celestial Seasonings Apple Cinnamon.

Lights on / lights off? Off

3 things you never leave home without? My cell. My Bluetooth. A tablet to write.

Sleep in or get up early? 6AM early.

3 celebrity crushes? Morris Chestnut. Nas Escobar. Colin Kaepernick.

Tell us something no person knows about you. Nah, there’s a reason they don’t know.

Any advice to give to aspiring writers?

Write. Write. Write. Form healthy alliances. Read as much as you can. Expand your vocabulary as much as you can. Beta readers are mandatory because you get the truth and not what you want to hear about your story. Make sure you are the first AND last eyes on your manuscript. Meaning do NOT rely on an editor to “fix” your work. It’s YOURS.

Any message to your followers?

Keep following. I’m always evolving and love having you on my journey!

Tell us what Hollywood actors would be the characters in your book?

Haven’t really thought this out. This question comes up a lot and since I’m never really thinking celebrity when I write my stories, it’s always a hard question to answer. I’d have to do a casting call and see what “feeling” I get from the people present. Knowing me, it wouldn’t be an all-star cast, but a cast of people who have read the story and really want to bring their A-game to the roles.

~ When the desire to be with her is so strong ~

Emem is on her way to attend a Christmas speed dating contest in her hometown. This season, she has her mind made up to only date a bachelor who grew up in Barrow-in-Furness. Her reasons are personal and there is no way she would date a man who is a non-local.

Runo has an invitation to a Christmas event that sounds more like a blind date. He is excited at the perfect chance to indulge in a quickie affair with a woman he will not have to see again after this year’s week-long contest.

When Runo is paired up with Emem, their attraction is instant and the urge to kiss her is so strong and undeniable. Then he finds out Emem wants more than a week long affair. And she discovers Runo is a non-local out to have fun. When the desire to be together is so strong, would they reveal their deep emotions or find reasons to opt out of the contest?

~ From the Author of His Ring: A Sweet & Steamy Romance

Teaser

In haste, Emem dropped the mug on her dressing table and fished out her mobile phone. Runo’s name scrolled across the screen and her fingers wobbled as she answered the call.

“Hello,” she whispered, locking her bedroom door.
“Why are you whispering? Are you not home yet?” Runo queried, his tone sharp.

“I’m home. Just don’t want my family listening to my conversation.”

He laughed in her ears and she giggled.

“Sounds like my family. I bet they sat you down to ask about me.”

Emem nodded. Then realised Runo could not see her, so she responded. “Had to reveal the basics to pacify their interest.”

“So did you tell them I massaged your shoulders?”

The reminder of how his strong fingers kneaded her flesh made her grit her teeth as a hot flush boiled her face.

“No I didn’t,” she murmured, pressing the mobile phone to her face as if to bring him closer.

Runo chuckled, the sound tingling her skin.

“Did you tell them you kissed me?” he rasped in her ears.

Emem stared at the ceiling, took in a deep breath and touched her lips with one finger the way Runo had in the restaurant. She could still taste the champagne on his lips and a fresh surge of shivers strolled around her backbone.
