Reasons For Hatred Virtual Book Tour J.E. Thomas

About The Book

This a story based on true events. It’s about two best friends who were separated during their childhood. The spotlight then zooms in on Hadassah; during their adult reunion, she divulges the painful moments of the sexual abuse, murder and death that occurred in her life during her adolescence. It is a story about an ordinary person faced with extraordinary trauma and how she came to forgive and learned to embrace wholeness.

The Doctor of Love Shon Hyneman

Shon,

Welcome to Empowered to Prosper. Today is day # 5 on your Virtual Book Tour.

We are doing something a little different today. We are having a Q & A with Mentor, Marriage Coach, and Author Shon Hyneman.

We want to get to the heart of the matter so we asked Shon some questions that can help us succeed in our marriages

About the Author

Shon was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio for 25 years and in 2004 moved to Phoenix, Arizona with his family. He is happily married for ten years to Londina and has two children. Shon is the owner of Never Again Ministries which promote Marriage Enhancement and Holistic Relationships in God. Questions to the Doctor

How can we spice up our marriage?

Your Marriage can be spiced up by breaking out of your regular routine. Try something different or be spontaneous.

Buy your Wife some flowers just because you love her. She shouldn’t get flowers just for special occasions.

Lotion your Wife body after she get out the shower and build her up with your words as you lotion her down with the lights turned down low with soft music playing in the background

Date nights. Take her to a movie and dinner and if you can rent a hotel room for a weekend to get away from familiarity

Buy some lingerie. Surprise your Husband when he comes home from work

How can trust be restored?

Trust can be restored by consistency. There has to be a season where whoever violated the trust must let the other spouse know where they are at all times until the other spouse can feel like they can trust again. For the spouse who violated the trust they cannot tell their spouse to “get over it” because they are still grieving. Restoring trust takes time and no one can put a time limit on the healing process.

Lists keys to communication

They talk more to each other
They have a wider range of subjects available to them to talk about
They keep the lines of communication open at all times
They show more sensitivity to each other feelings
They let their spouse talk without them interrupting

How does it make a man feel (really feel) if his wife makes more money than he does?

To be honest, it depends on the man. For most men it can become a challenge, but if his Wife never bring up the fact that she make more than him it won’t affect him as much. If she look at the finances as it’s ours and not hers she can help build up his confidence in the financial area….It may even drive him to get a better paying job.

My husband has anger issues but won't admit it, what can I do?

What is the cause of his anger?
Do you know his past?
Converse with him on how YOU can love him past his anger
Speak his love language until you no longer see the anger in him

Why does the fire die down in our marriages?

I think we get used to our Spouse after so many years of Marriage. That's why date nights (or mornings) is healthy for a Marriage. Always take time to reinvent yourself to keep the Marriage fresh.

About the Book

Everyone desires to be wise, but the truth is it doesn’t come naturally for many. Wisdom must be sought after. Wisdom must be practiced. Wisdom must be a goal for every day of life. Shon ‘Doctor of Love’ Hyneman has made the attainment of godly wisdom a priority in his life and his marriage, and now he’s sharing the treasures gained during his journey with others through his new book Wisdom: Preventing Problems Before They Happen.

Wisdom: Preventing Problems Before They Happen highlights Shon’s passion for marriages. He desires to see two whole and healthy individuals cleave together to create a union that blesses their partnership, their relatives and friends, their community and ultimately the world at large.

Shon values transparency. In Wisdom: Preventing Problems Before They Happen he gives an up close and personal look at his approach to various relationships and marriage outside of the safeguards of Godly wisdom. This sincerity gives hope and encouragement that with a renewed mind a lifestyle of blessing is birthed.  There’s no better time than the present to grab hold of wisdom with all your heart, mind and soul and intentionally create a marriage relationship that so glorifies God its remnants echo through eternity.

Book Excerpt: “When smarts and wisdom is applied one can help improve others as well as himself. With wisdom you can get to the heart of a person and in the process a relationship is developed because you showed them that you care.”
