About The Author

Bestselling Author | Speaker | Empowerment Coach | Minister

Esther Renee' Daniels Wright, is a native of Beaumont, Texas and resides in Houston, Texas. An Associate minister at The Fountain of Praise, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Remus Wright and Co-Pastor Mia Wright.

The founder of Titus Works, Ministries, a vision I believe was downloaded specifically to me from God. This ministry has been created to spread the word freely to ages 25 and up. Titus based on the Word of God in Titus chapter 2, teaches us that the old shall be there to guide the young into a better life with Christ. This ministry strives to do this in a unique way. Through telephone conferences with powerful speakers and topics is keeping it real with people and God.

I have been blessed to counsel, motivate, inspire and encourage others that they too can be a living testimony. With all of that said the most important thing she would like for you to know about her, is she loves God with all of her heart and wants nothing more than for God to be pleased with everything she does.

Esther, Tell us about your book?

Have you been harboring unforgiveness, bitterness, and feelings of self-defeat? Is the guilt of your past hindering your plans for the future? Are you ready to overcome your hidden issues and walk victoriously and unashamed? This inspirational and effective book is a great resource for anyone ready to take their relationship with God to the next level. Through God’s Word. This book offers encouragement and hope for healing and freedom. This heartfelt work offers steps to assist in the journey through love and compassion.

How did you come up with idea for this book?

I was given this assignment to write a book and I thought to myself this has to be me saying this, surely God would not be telling me to write a book. Plus what would I have to write about anyway, I am not an expert on anything, what could I possibly write that would inspire or help another human being. So, I did what most people do, I disregarded the thought of this potential book. But like any assignment that God gives me to do, it would not leave my spirit, so I began to pray about it. Seeking God’s opinion on this book, I remember praying, “okay God, if this is truly what you want me to do, then would you at least give me the subject matter of this book?” Not long after that it was revealed to me what God wanted to say to you through this book

What was the most difficult aspect of writing this book?

In order to write this book it meant writing about some things in my life, that were unpleasant. This of course was something I didn't want to do. The thought of knowing that people would have all my stuff in their hands was a sincere challenge. But God reminded me that not only does he want to free you but he wants to free me as well.

Why do you write?

I write now because I am so clear of the fact that God wants us to be healed in every area of our lives, He wants us to know what he said through David in Psalm 147 is real, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” He wants to bless us with the freedom to experience the joy, peace and happiness that we so desperately desire to experience.

What valuable lessons do you want readers to learn from your book?

I would love for the reader to walk away with realizing the dirt under their rug needs to be exposed and swept clean in order that those experiences are no longer an embarrassment or hindrance to their progression, but rather a testimony of God’s faithfulness in my life. Allowing God’s faithfulness to manifest an experience of true freedom by facing fears, exposing them, taking action to overcome them and learn from them. So, get ready to walk into your freedom.

Who are your favorite authors? I really enjoy reading Iyanla Vanzant

What book(s) are you reading now?

Lost and Found: Finding Hope in the Detours of Life by Sarah Jakes

What book(s) have most influenced your life?

The Purposed Driven Life, by Rick Warren was one of the first books I read when I got sober and it gave me the inspiration to find a path to not only just be sober, but to be sober with a purpose!

If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?

I would choose Iyanla Vanzant, being able to help others at a greater level with changing the behavior and thought process of others is an amazing gift. Not just a gift to have the ability to assist someone in that area, but a gift to the individual who is able to receive it.

Any advice to give to aspiring writers?

Listen to your inner voice allowing God to lead you in your writing, along with making a commitment to your writing. That book inside of you is a gift to those who God has waiting for you to complete it. Let Him use you!
