#VIRTUALBOOKTOUR Bre's Heavenly Adventures with Jesus #NEWBOOKALERT #CHILDRENBOOKS #GIVEAWAY @wnlbooktours

Write Now Literary is pleased to be organizing a two-week book tour and Amazon gift card giveaway for Bre's Heavenly Adventures with Jesus by Breanna Brown. The book tour will run Jan 11-22, 2021.

ASIN: B08R6M41Q1
Genre: Christian Children's Book

Bre Brown currently serves as the Youth Minister of Watchman Ministries, alongside her Husband Eric Smith, located in Fredericksburg, VA. She’s been regarded, as the "prophetic voice for the next generation." She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Louisville and currently possesses her qualified mental health professional registration in the state of Virginia. She is currently pursuing her graduate certificate in non-profit studies. She is the CEO and founder of Child Enrichment Solutions LLC. Which is a full-service coaching and consulting firm that helps youth to identify negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that inhibit them from achieving personal achievement utilize constructive coping strategies to lead happy, empowered, and successful lives.

Bre gets angry when her father breaks his promise and refuses to play with her. But Bre's mom tells her that she another father named Jesus-and he is the best father ever. He is always there, always ready to listen, and he will never stop loving her-even when she has made a mistake! So Bre goes to heaven to meet him...and this book will tell you what happened there!

"As the tears began streaming down her face. Her mama stopped to ask, "will you be ok?" Why doesn't he love me? Bre asked. He always does this! Do you think he's mad?"

How did you come up with ideas for this book?

I was able to tap back into my thoughts, feelings, and emotions as I once felt as a child and I was able to get back into the shoes of my 7-year-old self. Once I was able to take myself back to that place with the help of the holy spirit it was like the pages just began to write themselves.

What do you hope readers will learn/discover from reading your book?

What I want my adult readers to learn/discover is that it never too early to begin to have critical conversations with children. Children are always watching and modeling what we do as adults. So, it is very critical that we as adults set the examples for who we want our children to become because how we choose to interact with them early on will determine how they choose to interact with the world once they are adults. I also want my young readers to know that what happened to them does not define who they are but it’s what they decide to do with themselves after the moment passes that determines who they will become.

What inspired you to write this book?

Definitely the leading of the holy spirit and wanting to bring healing to the younger generation and their families. When I was writing this book, I found that I was able to pour a lot of myself into the main character and was able to tap back into stories of trauma that I endured as a child such as not feeling loved by own my father. Although, years later we have reconciled our relationship the years of trauma that I endured behind it left me with a lot of deep wounds and scars that I am just now working on getting healed through the help of trauma therapy. If I can help any family or child not have to go the same route that I did that’s my goal.

What’s next for you?

Currently, I am launching my own Coaching and Consulting firm Called Child Enrichment Solutions LLC. I help youth identify negative thoughts, feelings, and emotions that inhibit them from personal achievement utilize constructive coping strategies that will  lead to  happy, empowered, and successful lives. Secondly, I am working on getting my second book ready to be published sometime around easter. Lastly, I am working on getting a few speaking engagements lined up to help motivate and encourage the youth.

In five words describe your book.

Jesus, Faith, Family, Unconditional Love, and Joy.

Just for fun

Coffee or tea?

3 things you never leave home without?

Any advice to give to aspiring writers?

My biggest piece of advice would be to just begin writing. I know I’ve always wanted to write books for years but, would always get stuck in my head on what and how I should write. I know during the writing process google was my best friend. I also joined a lot of fb writing and author groups; this has helped me to see what type of publications others are putting out there. Once you have written your book, I suggest allowing friends and family to read it, especially if you have teacher friend’s they can save you a lot of time and money when it comes to editing. Then after they look at it go to Fiverr.com and hire a professional editor to overlook your book and provide you with suggestions. From there, you can look up a graphic design artist that will help design book covers as well as format your book. When it comes to self-publishing look to do so on Amazon and/or Barnes and Noble. However, if you want  to go the more traditional publishing route, I definitely say do research on the company that matches your values, standards of quality, and know how much you are willing to invest.

This story will teach all ages, genders and nationalities about racism and it seeks to inspire us all to unite and love one another despite the color of our skin.

Tymeka Coney is an actress, producer, director, playwright, poet, songwriter, voiceover and now activist with the release of her new children's picture book, "I Don't Like Racism," which was inspired by the police brutality she has witnessed in the world and first hand. She also has a Spoken Word album, "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Dreams," available on Amazon and her recent extended single "COVID 19- Social Distancing," also on Amazon.

AUTHOR INTERVIEW

Can you, for those who don't know you already, tell something about yourself and how you became an author?

I am a Writer at Heart. I write everything from songs, to TV&Film scripts to poetry which is basically how I became an author. My first book published was a book of poetry.

What is something unique/quirky about you?

Hmm...I would say that I am really introverted and sometimes reserved/shy at first meeting but once I get to know you I can be lots of fun and I have a great sense of humor if you can open me up.

Tell us something really interesting that's happened to you!

I have experienced Police Brutality first hand and I still live to tell my story and Thank God I am not a statistic but I can be a part of the conversation.

What are some of your pet peeves?

I don't like rude people and pessimistic people or people that tell you something can't be done when they know and you know that it can be. Don't give me a problem without a solution.

Where were you born/grew up at?

I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.

If you knew you'd die tomorrow, how would you spend your last day?

Wow...I would probably spend my last day praying for more time on the clock...because I have so many other things that I want to complete before that last day and I would not believe that my time would be up before I completed those purpose filled tasks.

Who is your hero and why?

Man... I have so many Heroes. My Heroes are anyone who has survived something. My Mother....She has strength, courage and wisdom....

My Grandmother who was 89 years old that just passed away April 2020...She was my hero because she fought until her last breath...and had survived so much in 89 years.

Also...anyone that has survived racism Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.,

Maya Angelou, Oprah Winfrey also anyone that has survived and overcome to become successful..and one of my Heroes is Tyler Perry. He has an amazing rags to riches story and he travels his own path to success..He went from Homelessness to a Billionaire through Arts & Entertainment...

What kind of world ruler would you be?

I would be a world ruler for Peace, Love and Equality for all mankind no matter their race, age, creed, religion, sexuality, disability, gender, socio economic status etc.

What are you passionate about these days?

I'm passionate about creative writing and sharing my creative writing with the world and putting positive projects into the world that can enhance the lives of others. I am also passionate about spreading messages of hope, peace and love and positivity in a world full of negativity.

What do you do to unwind and relax?

I have a great conversation on the phone with a family member or friend to relax.

How to find time to write as a parent?

I'm not a parent but I would say create a schedule for writing and stick to it. If you have a child then make sure they can have play time while you have write time so that both of you are occupied doing something you enjoy that won't distract the other. :)

Describe yourself in 5 words or less!

Tenacious, Creative, Nurturing, Resourceful, Leader

When did you first consider yourself a writer?

I have been writing since my youth. I actually first got paid for a poem I wrote in a poetry contest in Junior High. I would say then I knew I was a writer because I got paid for it.

Do you have a favorite movie?

My Favorite movie is "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate."  It stars Martin Lawrence, Lynn Whitfield and Regina King. I like it because it is layered with comedy, drama, emotions, psychotic behaviors, love so many emotions in one movie and Lynn Whitfield's character explores a wide range of emotions as an Actress.

Which of your novels can you imagine made into a movie?

I have two books and I believe this book "I Don't Like Racism" can be an animation movie or tv show.

What literary pilgrimages have you gone on?

I'm not aware of any literary pilgrimages I've been on.

As a writer, what would you choose as your mascot/avatar/spirit animal?

I would say I am a Lion...Hear Me Roar!! There's strength in what I have to say!

#VIRTUALBOOKTOUR SELAH'S PAINTED DREAM by Susan Count #CHILDREN #PICTURE #BOOK

BeachBoundBooks is pleased to be coordinating a Blog Tour for the children's novel written by Susan Count, Selah's Painted Dream. The tour will run from May 7 - May 29, 2018.

About the Book

Title: Selah's Painted Dream (Dream Horse Adventures, Book 3) | Author: Susan Count | Publisher: Hastings Creation Group | Publication Date: May 7, 2018 | Genre: Children's Novel | Number of Pages: 174

Description: Thirteen-year-old Selah’s life is about as perfect as it gets. She has horsy friends at school, and on weekends, she rides her black mare on Grandpa’s farm. Training the horse to do upper-level liberty work is what makes her heart beat.

But one word can ruin a perfect life—moving.

A move would separate her from her horse, so she plots to get her name on the farm mailbox instead. She’s sure she could persuade Grandpa—except he’s overly distracted by a sheep-loving neighbor.

Determined not to let Grandpa's new sweetheart take her place in his heart, Selah puts her hope in a painted dream horse from Grandpa’s past. When she snugs up the girth and buckles on her spurs, Selah rides to win.

Other books in the series...

A story of love and determination in the face of adversity that will steal your heart.

Twelve-year-old Mary longs to have a horse of her own, but she's limited to reading horse books. A talented artist, she spends her days on a blanket in the grass sketching the horses at the farm next door. She falls in love with one of the foals and is outraged to learn the filly is considered worthless as it was born lame.

Mary befriends and enlists the help of twelve-year-old Laura, whose family owns the horse farm. Against the better judgment of the farm manager, a brief reprieve is negotiated for the foal's life. The girls conspire to raise money to save her, but time is running out. Sadly, it appears the expensive surgery the foal needs has little chance to correct the problem anyway. Mary isn't about to let her own disability hold her back. She sacrifices what she holds dear - the trust of her papa, to gain her heart's desire. But she could lose everything in her struggle to save the foal.

TxAuthors Best Book Award Winner for 2017 - Juvenile - Coming of Age

Feathered Quill - 2017 GOLD Award - Children's Fiction - Animals

Purple Dragonfly - 2017 First Place - Disability Awarenes

A delightful read. Plenty of twists and turns which makes the book a great little adventure. Selah embodies perseverance, hope, determination, compassion, and spunk.

Twelve-Year-Old SELAH'S quest to be equestrian superstar is impossible without a horse. Then she spots buzzards circling in the grasslands behind Grandpa's farm. They're stalking a horse trapped in wire and Selah is its only hope. But the mare she rescues might be a bigger challenge to her dream than not having a horse at all. When an old friend of Grandpa's and a world renowned horse trainer offers to work with the wild and defiant mare, Selah jumps at the opportunity. She trains with a fierce determination to equal the equestrian talent of the deceased grandmother who instilled the love of horses in her. But when the horse causes mayhem at the trainer's facility, he sends them home. Selah must gather her courage and face up to the trainer or watch her dreams gallop away.

I’ve published three books in an equestrian series. I write at an antique secretary desk that occupies a glass room with a forest view. EXCERPTS - PLEASE choose 1 and DELETE the other 3 prior to posting.

Excerpt 1

In the darkness ahead, strange noises, squeaks like fingers sliding on a steel guitar—times a thousand—cut through a fluttery sound. Beating wings.

Crud. Rhonda threw her arms over her head and ducked. “Bats!”

Selena screamed.

The shrillness ricocheted off the walls and assaulted Rhonda’s ears. “Get down.” Didn’t they know bats moving in a group couldn’t use their natural navigation? “And turn off the flashlight.

Curtis tossed the torch down and hunched in front of her. As the sound grew louder, he turned and put his arms around her.

Omigosh, omigosh, omigosh. They were under attack by a bat colony and the only thing that mattered was Curtis Vanhouten had his arms around her. Well, not under attack, but close enough. The noise swelled as the bats flew overhead, the vibrations from the thrusting wings bounced off their hunched bodies.

When they had passed, Selena whimpered. “Can we get up yet?”

Rhonda peeked into the surrounding darkness. “I don’t know.” The sound decreased as the bats flew farther away. “We came from that direction, unless they go out the trap door, how will they get out?”

Goodness. What if they went flying through the school? Would the FBI break their pact to stay out if they saw a bat cloud flying past the windows?

The peeping sounds grew louder. “They’re coming back. Stay down.” Were they going to wind up crouched on the tunnel floor in waning light from the torch while being dive-bombed by bats all day? The cloud flew overhead and back through the tunnel. The crew waited in case they came back.

Rhonda uncovered her head and strained to hear any noise through the silence. Nothing. “I think they’re gone.”

Curtis let his arms fall to his sides. Then he reached for the torch and held it up again.

She stood. In the dim light she saw Dennis had covered Maddie in the same way Curtis had shielded her. Well, it was nice while it lasted, whatever the reason.

Selena clung to James’s arm. “We’re going to follow the bats?” Her voice rose to a squeak.

Rhonda put one hand on her hip. “You can always go back to the Dungeon.”

“No.” Selena straightened. “I’m going with you.”

Curtis faced forward. “Let’s go then.”

About The Book

Mommy Loves You is a children's book about a mother's love for her child expressed through words of affirmation. Mommy Loves You is also an educational tool as well as a self-esteem and self-love booster.

For ages 1 - 5 years.

Dyoni, Tell us about your book?

Mommy Loves you is a 3-in-1 book that deals with the concept of self through words of affirmations, it is an educational tool, and it is deals with quality time factor between parent and child. It is a great book for children under 5.

.       What was the most difficult aspect of writing this book?

Finding the right illustrator was the most difficult aspect of completing this book. I went through 2 different illustrator. The 3rd illustrator was a great fit for this book.

What’s next for you?

I’m preparing for a book reading and signing on November 4, 2017.  Location: Little Lambs Child Care Center – 2418 W. Compton Blvd. Compton, CA. 90220. I translated Mommy Loves You in Afrikaans (a language spoken in South Africa). I also have a few writing projects in progress, so I’m hoping to have at least one project completed sometime next month.

Excluding your own, name 3 books you would recommend to your friends?

I read a lot of books from Dr. Myles Munroe, Bishop T.D Jakes, and John Maxwell. Any book from these three authors I would recommend. But off hand, I would say, “The Principles and Power of Vision” by Dr. Munroe, “Destiny: Step into Your Purpose” by Bishop Jakes, and “21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership” by John Maxwell.

Just for fun

Coffee or tea? Tea all day

Lights on / lights off? Lights off

Sleep in or get up early?  It depends. Lately it’s been sleep in J

3 celebrity crushes? Demarcus Ware, Demarcus Ware, and did I say Demarcus Ware? LOL

Tell us something no person knows about you. Let’s see… I’m pretty much an open book. But no one knows I really like cooking and trying new foods.

Any advice to give to aspiring writers?

Don’t think, just write! Writing is a process that is ever changing. There is no set process when writing a book. For me, each book that I’ve written had a different process.

Any message to your followers? There is nothing you need to change about yourself. Everything about you is purposely designed for your purpose and destiny.
