A Chance with You Virtual Tour with Yahrah St. John

So yesterday you learned the weirdest thing I’ve done and who my male crush is, but did you know that my favorite food is Italian and that my favorite dish to cook is lemon dill salmon with roasted potatoes?  One more thing…the household chore I hate the most is a tossup between putting away laundry or putting away dishes from the dishwasher.

Follow me on the rest of the tour to learn a few more tidbits about me!  So what about you?  What are some things people may not know about you?  Leave your comments in the comment section below.

About the Book

Baby, I’m Yours

Charismatic caterer Raina Martin knows a lot of things: how to whip up a soufflé, how to throw a party and how to be independent. One thing she doesn’t know is how to be a mother. So when a cruel twist of fate claims her sister’s life and leaves Raina with custody of her six-year-old niece, Zoe, Raina can think of only one place to turn. Zoe’s father has to be out there somewhere, and she intends to find him.
When sexy sports agent Spencer Davis is confronted by the feisty beauty, he is torn. He does not believe he is the father of Raina’s niece. Yet he is reluctant to let the beguiling chef slip away. Soon he and Raina are engaged in a passionate liaison that is both unwise and inevitable. With Zoe’s parentage still in question, Spencer knows their relationship may be short-lived. But his longing for Raina is quickly outweighing his judgment, and he is willing to risk everything on the chance that they might be meant for each other….

Your favorite dish to cook sounds delicious. Can you share the recipe? One thing people may not know about me is that I am undercover techie. I would love to learn to take things apart and put them back together again....lol!

I would be more than happy to share the recipe. It's pretty simple and was shared with me by a coworker many moons ago. I wish I had your knack for problem solving. I can only put something together if I have instructions. :-)

Hello Yahrah,
One thing people may not know about me is that I am writing a booklet about my experience related to warning signs when choosing a mate titled 'STOP: Use my experiences to learn'. Have no intention of publishing...just cathartic :-)

What was your favorite series to write?

What is your favorite book of all the ones you've written? (Sorry, I know that's like asking a mother which of her children is her favorite)

Which of your book or series would you recommend to a first time reader?

Severine

Hi Severine,

My favorite series to write was the Adams Cosmetics trilogy which starts with Need You Now, followed by Lost Without You and Formula for Passion. I had a specific idea in mind with a beginning and end. Plus, I knew who would be the villain throughout all 3 books.

However, the Orphan Series which starts with Playing for Keeps was the most poignant because it was about 4 friends who grew up as orphans, became successful and found love. So, start reading Playing for Keeps...

Hello Yahrah,

I don't like ironing, use to love it. :-)

I agree, your favorite dish to cook sounds delicious.

One thing people may not know about me is that as I get older, I have less patience with grown folk and excuses.

Hi Yahrah

Learning so much about you, and I don't like putting up dishing that just one of the things I don't like. Look forward to tomorrow tour to see where you are.

Hello
I love these tours. I learn so much about my favorite authors. I don't like to cook or iron. Love to eat.

Rhea, Louise, Cilla,

Thanks for stopping by. Sorry I missed commenting yesterday, got a little swamped and then did a Blog talk radio interview.

I agree with Cilla that ironing isn't a favorite activity either. Have a great day!
