Follow their journey in this compelling novel filled with inspiration and triumph.

How did your life as a writer begin?

I began writing poetry and short stories when I was a third grader in elementary school. I received a lot of recognition from my elementary teachers and I knew at a young age that I had a gift of writing. When I was obtaining my undergraduate degree, I took elective writing courses but chose not to major in Journalism or Fine Arts. I wasn’t sure if I had doubts about a writing career although it was my passion. However, I began writing professionally in 2012 by publishing articles, product and restaurant reviews. Also, I was a member of a writer’s ministry. My mentors encourage me to write professionally and to allow the Lord to guide me in prayer for projects to complete. They taught me that writing is a spiritual gift that it should be taken seriously.

What makes you feel inspired to write?

I receive inspiration from my dreams, visions, people I meet or something that I read in the media or in the word of God. I’m inspired by many things to write but I always pray and ask the Lord for guidance.

How did you come with the idea for your current story?

I was in prayer and I felt led by the Lord to write my current story which is based on real life events from my life. I knew that my story would be a form of ministry but I had no idea where the Lord would lead me. As it turned out, two years later into writing my new book, I moved into healing and deliverance ministry. Then I understood why I had to write this book.

What is your favorite scene in the book? Why?

One of my favorite scenes of the book is when my main character, Erin was in high school, and she was walking home alone from her Grandma Mary’s house. She had an open vision about her future in that she was living in a large, walking city with cultures of people. She lived in that moment as long as she could until she snapped back into her reality.

What is the highest goal that you desire to meet as an author?

I just want to represent the Lord and share his love through my writing. I plan to continue writing fiction, non-fiction and plays. My inspiration comes from him and I know that there are no limits with God.

What is the best piece of advice you would give to someone that wants to get into writing?

Someone who wants to get into writing should definitely pursue it. I recommend joining a writer’s group to network and take as many training classes and seminars to better equip as a writer.

What is in your To Read Pile that you are dying to start or upcoming release you can’t wait for?

I look forward to reading the new book release: Supernatural Access by Ryan LeStrange. I love his ministry.
