Does Your Vision Need An Engineer? It is a simple question with an answer that may seem to be obvious.  Countless people have dreams and visions, but few are able to translate them into a practical plan that can followed.  Rufus Chambers takes readers on a journey of understanding how to connect a plan of action to their divinely inspired vision.  If you are struggling with understanding what to do next or who to recruit to join your team, this is the book for you.  There is nothing more frustrating than having a vision but being clueless on how to actively pursue.  Rufus will take you into the mind of a vision engineer, whose singular focus is creating a strategic plan that can systematically execute vision.

What do you hope readers will learn/discover from reading your book?
My hope is that readers will discover the importance of having a strategic plan to accompany their individual or corporate vision.  Every person on earth has been given a unique assignment that is all their own.  As this assignment is revealed to people, they must invest the time and resources into the development of a strategic plan so that they can advance towards the fulfillment of their assignment.  Readers will be encouraged to dream again and not minimize the opportunity that they have to leave an imprint on their generation.

What inspired you to write this book?

My inspiration to write this book is primarily found in having a burden to help others.  After having spent extensive time with pastors and leaders at various stages of their journey, I have gained an appreciation for the help that many need.  This help is found in having a supporting cast who can execute the vision that has been given to them.  My goal in writing this book was to create a practical tool that will help leaders and individuals articulate the vision that burns inside of them, while providing an easy to understand roadmap towards their vision’s fulfillment.

Why do you write? Is it something you've always done, or always wanted to do? Or is it something that you started fairly recently?

I write because I desire to contribute that which has been given to me by God with others in my generation and those coming behind me.  After publishing my first book, I realized that the content of the book would outlive me and this realization charged me with doing more writing.  I have not always been a writer, but it is something that has been slowly developed over time.  As my relationship with Christ has grown over the years, my appetite to learn through reading increased and created a spark for me to write.  I know that there are a number of other books that I must complete in order to finish my assignment.

Name 3 authors you would love to collaborate with.

 - Dr. Sam Chand
-  Andy Stanley
-  John C. Maxwell
