How did you come up with the idea for this book?

The topic of the book began as a seminar talk for my Permission Granted annual women’s empowerment seminar. Over the years, the topic became popular and the most requested so I decided to turn the message into a book so that I can empower more women who are tired of the status quo!

What was the most difficult aspect of writing this book?

The difficult part of the writing the book is dedicating the time to do it. As a graphic & web designer, business coach and empowerment speaker my schedule is always tight. So, time was the toughest part. I had to set a date and plan an event around so that I could make it happen.

Why do you write?

I don’t consider myself a writer per se but a woman on assignment to empower women around the world and writing is a part of it.

What valuable lessons do you want readers to learn from your book?

I want readers to understand that they have the power to change their own lives and not be conformed to mediocrity. Every dream that you have is possible and doable if you just activate the right ingredients and don’t give up during the process.

Who are your favorite authors?

Victoria Lowe, John Bevere, and John Maxwell

What book(s) are you reading now?

Launch by Jeff Walker

What books have most influenced your life?

• 10 Spiritual Principles of Successful Women by Victoria Lowe
• Commanding Your Life by Cindy Trimm
• Speak to It, Healing is In Your Mouth by Rodney R. Roberts
• Pursue Your Purpose & Live Your Dreams by Dr. Stacia Pierce

If you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?

Any advice to give to aspiring writers?

Just do it. No more excuses. Set a firm date and stick to it!
